Making Monday : Progress Report on the Blackrose cardi
I’m getting some projects together so that I can participate in KnittyMama’s new make-along Monthly Apparel and the one I’d like to do this month is this Black Rose cardigan. I’ve taken the Black Rose pattern from some socks I enjoyed knitting and added it to a Rowan pattern for a shawl collar cardigan. I’m improvising heavily so it should be an interesting project especially as I’m going for a big seamless cardi.

I’m very pleased with the border. There will be a button row band attached afterwards.
In case you are wondering about our nocturnal pest.. The keeping him awake during the day has meant he is tired at bed time and doesn’t wake up and follow pao whenever he gets up (well for last night anyway)
Just in case he thought about going back to sleep, I filled his bed with yarn
