An anniversary stroll along the Broadstairs Boardwalk
(or Promenade as we Britishers call it)
On our first ever date, we decided to ‘do something mad’ and hopped on a train which took us to Broadstairs. It was a wild blustery night and we walked along the beach. We even got engaged ‘officially’ in Broadstairs after a lovely meal at a great restaurant which is sadly now closed and drank champagne on the beach to celebrate. pao had blurted out his proposal several weeks before by a traffic light in Canterbury
The council had expanded the promenade since we’d first been there and we took a walk to Dumpton Gap and then along the cliffs afterwards. I’ll shut up now and let the pictures speak for themselves
Oh and in case you were wondering what you give someone on their tenth anniversary, check out what I received lucky dip style:

Some of the 12 tins (yes, I know it is our 10th but that is why pao is special
) I received because it is a tin gift year.

The big tin had a breakfast set in it – pretty nifty.
A super anniversary – looking forward to the next!
