I finished these rainbow Schoppel Wolle socks on Saturday. They were a quick and cheery knit and now I’ve started on some using the yarn I found in Leeds. I do have some good news about the yarn I ordered from Fiddlesticks. It arrived quickly and I got confirmation all the way along so I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. I still need to sort out my experience with Angel Yarns but Polly did send me a reassuring message about Gill from the Woolly Workshop. I know from previous experience that Gill has been really reliable so I have faith that all will be well. I ordered a cardigan kit so hope it will arrive but if I don’t then I’ll just have to pay a visit to a yarn shop in the summertime.

It has been a tough couple of days as pao and I have both been a bit worried about his op tomorrow. pao normally takes all these things in his stride but this time the stress has gotten to both of us. I have had loads of problems with equipment so it has been a bit crazy. I’m glad to have finished work now until Monday and we’re both pleased that the waiting is almost over. We stopped and had a Morrocan dinner before we came home so pao was sustained for the next day.

I simply thought this Pao Bhaji I found in a vending machine might not be enough.

Sirius will be excited to have pao at home. He likes to go round to pao’s side of the bed and try and wake him up and then gets under the duvet between us when he thinks he has attracted our attention. He did manage to stick his paw in pao’s eye the other day so pao has to dig out his eye shield for the next few days.
