.. when we were all unmarried, three friends would often have a lot of fun..
Husbands, children, beloved house dwellers, post-university humdrum of work, houses, mortgages, and all that stuff came along and seemingly chased those fun days away..
Until two weeks last Wednesday..
We met, we boat tripped, we ate cream teas, we saw Mamma Mia, we laughed hard, we mused, we reminisced and we ate Chinese completely forgetting everyday life for a few precious hours. Here is a link to Lyndall’s post (has it really been a fortnight already…?) Sadly, I did not get a photo of the David Tennant lookalike or his fine bottom
Same time, next year?

Oh to be young and have all those boring things ahead of us! Looks like you guys had a great time – don’t wait a year to do it again!
HOW FUN!!!
On the other hand, you miscreants didn’t have to actually *experience* the ducking stool… so in the end, I think you still are ahead in the game.
Makes that time machine idea seem a little more iffy, I guess…
Sounds like lot of fun! Pity you don’t have any bottom pictures, though.
Nothing like hanging out with the girls!
What?! No bottom pictures???? Hmph.
Looks like you managed to have a lovely day anyway.
Everybody needs to do this kind of stuff more often- I hope you keep your date for next year.
I have to agree with Chris – no bottom pictures? Of David Tennant look-a-likes yet? What a missed opportunity….
What a lovely day! Cute place too – is that the same ducking stool I saw on Time Team ages ago? (Silly question, I know…)
Oh, how fun! You did get a lot of lovely pictures, but dang. Missed a fine opportunity.
What a good time! I always enjoy seeing merry ole England through your pictures. Thanks!
