London – Part 2 We Eat

One of my work colleagues recommended a place on Broadwick Street called Yuatcha. We entered the restaurant through a set of blue glass doors and were seated in the upstairs tea room for dim sum. Visually the restaurant is stunning and the food was excellent. The service was appalling and I’m posting lots of photos because we weren’t supposed to take them. The waitress was intrusive and rude. I barely took a sip from my water before she’d appeared at my side to refill my glass. I don’t know what pao did but he was persona non grata as far as she was concerned. Unfortunately, there was an ‘optional’ 12.5% service charge which I wanted to have removed but didn’t fancy spoiling a nice day with an argument.

Even so, the food was great and despite the rudeness, I’d probably go back for the food as it was lovely.
