Ten on a Tuesday: 10 Reasons You’re Happy it’s March
1. Daylight Savings Time will be over – yippee! Days will be longer and the weather will be getting better.
2. It will be Easter at the end of the month.
3. I can probably start seeds for vegetable growing.
4. A new series of Dr Who is back on TV again
With a new companion.
5. Warmer days to come.
6. Blossom will be out on the trees and little spring flowers like crocuses and paperwhites will be poking their heads out of the soil.
7. Starting planning for my birthday party – I have bunting to make
8. Planning lighter weight projects for the summer months. Wearing lighter clothing and feeling warm outside.
9. I went for a walk on the beach today – yippee!!

10. Making new kitty friends. This is Pippin (real name) who I met today.

Still no sign of the ground here. In fact we got a good 7 or 8 inches of snow today and it’s still snowing.

Oh, do you have Daylight Saving in Winter?? We finish Summer Daylight Saving in April. We are taking bets about Doctor Who here: it is being advertised for March. We’ll see!!

No, silly, Daylight Saving Time starts in March and ends in Nov. At least here. But I share your joy this time! It’ll be nice next week when I can still work and see out the window.

Huh. For us, Daylight Savings Time STARTS tonight and we end Standard Time.
