A Year of Creativity: Week 5
Sell Your Cleverness and Buy Bewilderment
The prompt encouraged me to explore a new craft. As I’ve tried quite a lot of things, there wasn’t much that I could choose from but I decided on watercolour. Let me tell you, it is harder than it looks!

I started off with a blank page, palette of colours and Sirius. pao gave me some watercolour paper and some of his paint to play with.

I painted some grass and sky and tried some trees but I didn’t like them so I have this green sheep!
Will I do it again? Maybe… I think I’m too interested in doing something well. I may try looking at pattern instead of a picture next time round though. I’m not the world’s best draw-er – perhaps I’ll show you some of the things I’ve drawn (usually cats) one day in this process.
I don’t seem to have a Week 6 prompt – I’m not sure what happened to it but it is just as well, I’ve been busy and knocked out by a yucky virus.

Sirius is quite clear about what he thinks of my green sheep. He is in the process of sitting on it!!

Oh no, but then The Labradors sit on my craft too, it could be an animal compliment. Let’s just pretend it is. I went to Watercolour painting classes. I am not a good draw-er either, or painter it turns out. Well done for trying something new.

Watercolour is much harder than it looks isn’t it?! But Sirius seems to like it
