Making Monday: Knits and Curd

A lot of making going on this week. Yesterday we made and have been eating luscious lemon curd

I’ve been working on my very long Betty Mouat scarf cum blanket.

Some while ago, I created my own sock club inspired by an idea by Lynne.

The yarn in the packet was gorgeous. I think that it may have even been a gift from Lynne, too.

It does make a gorgeous sock. Now to knit the second!

I’ve spent quite a bit of time today planning some new knitted jewellery pieces. This is one of the pieces that I finished off as I have to be ready to set up for a showcase at the Horsebridge Gallery starting Wednesday.

The kittens? Well, I’m sure they are planning to make mischief.

The kittens are definitely up to something, trying to get to the lemon curd perhaps?

The scarf is pretty cool!
Kitties are ALWAYS up to something, aren’t they?

Yes, the kittens are definitely planning something evil and wicked. I love it when people make their own socks clubs, I never do, but I enjoy the excitement vicariously. Oh a knitted jewellery heart for St valentine’s Day!!

Hello old friend,
I have been so behind in checking my favorite places. I didn’t know you were making that beautiful jewelry. Do you have an on-line shop or more pictures?
Love the kitties, as always.
We are recovering well from the storm. I had a touch of hypothermia and it took me 4-5 days to feel right again. Hope that nastiness did not come across the Atlantic to you! It was one fierce storm and now we are having another this weekend.
Also, I empathize greatly with missing one’s mother. Life’s losses linger long.
Take care.
