This is little Mickey in November just before Christmas. He is a such a friendly little chap who adores being picked up and cuddled.
Sometimes he jumps on the wall and stretches up to be picked up.
I was surprised that his eyes are still quite blue.
It was such a beautiful morning on Saturday when I was walking through the Cathedral for my sewing class, I just had to take some photos to show Jeanne some greenery as I’m guessing MN is quite snowy by now 🙂
And so my dress is taking shape! Last weekend, I learnt how to do the waist gathers and put the collary bit on.
It’s starting to look a lot like a … dress!!
I’ve really enjoyed doing the sewing course so far 🙂
One thing that cheers me on cold wintry days is remembering the joy of Jeanne’s housefull of kittens. Look at this joy 🙂
I’m very pleased with this hot water bottle cover. I spun most of the yarn for it – the rest is some British yarn I had in the stash. I loved playing around with the colours.
(or special moments with Sirius)
So my homework was to remake my calico bodice with the real deal fabric and cut out the skirt.
It was only a matter of moments before Sirius showed up
with his ‘can do’ attitude
that is ‘can lie down’ anywhere.
I finally got rid of him but that was a fluke as I’d accidentally shut him in the bathroom.
I had to remind myself to make sure the roses were all the right way up when I was cutting out the pattern. I spent ages staring at them just to make sure.
Ta-da! My bodice 🙂
This is the difference between boys and girls. Tamyra spent the whole time asleep on the sofa like this.
Please tell me that I don’t have the only cat in the world with such sass. I only put that partially sewn up blanket down for a moment and he appeared out of no where and lay right on it.
I am in love with this chap. I only see him very occasionally. He is super friendly but very very scared of cars.
It is nice to see him when he appears and he does love a fuss. When a car comes along, he’ll run back to the safety of his house and when it has gone, he’ll run back for more cuddles, purring and purring. He’s such a sweetie.
My beautiful girl is deemed to be fully grown now. She is so floofy.
Sirius has his own little ways and he does love his cushion throne and the corner of the sofa. He sometimes comes and complains until I get up!
