After we took Jeanne and her mom up on the Kent Eye, we headed into Whitstable for a walk along the beach and to stop for hot donut on the beach. We made a little friend of a cheeky starling who was posing at the next table for a bite of our donut.
… high in the sky!
We took Jeanne and her mom on the Kent Eye which is the temporary Kentish version of the London Eye to get a bird’s eye view of Canterbury and the area. It was quite amusing especially since you can steer the pod round yourself so you’re facing the other way. Do you think that is why Jeanne is smiling? 🙂
A very brief pop in to say – hello! I have been having a most fun-filled and brilliant but busy time. One of the nicest moments of the whirlwind of the past few weeks is having Jeanne and her mom to visit. I miss them very much and feel that we should have tried harder to kidnap them but here are a few photos of our Canterbury river trip. 🙂
This was my entry for Best Repurposed Tea Cup. I was so pleased with finding this vintage WI tea cup. I donated it to the silent auction and kind of wish I’d found my own WI tea cup but I was thrilled to be able to help my WI.
